Heather Poly was offered as a custom finish option by Gibson in the early-mid 60’s and has since seen several reissues from the Custom Shop.
The original version was acrylic based, however we’ve formulated ours in a nitrocellulose base.
Clear coating will dramatically deepen the effect of this finish.
Must be sprayed over a White Primer to ensure consistency.
Should be clear coated prior to wet sanding and polish.
