Originally seen in the 1959 Oldsmobile color palette, Cardinal Red was adopted as a custom color from Gibson in the early-mid 60’s. Similar to Fender’s Dakota Red, this color is a deep, vibrant red.
A base layer of White Primer can be beneficial for quicker opacity.
Should be clear coated prior to wet sanding and polish.
