Candy Apple Red – Metallic

Originally seen as a custom color offered by Fender in the 50’s.
Offered in a single can formula which makes for easy application.
Like other metallic’s, this should be sprayed over a White Primer base coat and then clear coated to create the depth and effect expected with this finish.
Note – On vintage instruments this finish was originally a transparent red sprayed over a gold or silver base coat. This can be acheived by spraying our Heritage Cherry Red over top of Goldtop. Our single can Candy Apple Red offers the same final aesthetic in one aerosol or 236ml can.
Should be clear coated prior to wet sanding and polish.
