Originally seen as a custom color offered by Fender in the 50’s.
Offered in a single can formula which makes for easy application. Mixed with a gold flake to accurately recreate the original two-stage process of a gold basecoat, followed by a transparent red.
Prior to clear coating, this color will likely appear burnt orange with the gold flake dominating the visual. Immediately once clear lacquer is applied, the red will saturate and give the color its signature candy red look.
Like other metallic’s, this should be sprayed over a White Primer base.
